Note:  There will be no newsletter next week as your editor 
will be at the AAS meeting.  Newsletters during the summer 
will probably be less than weekly, depending on the quantity 
and timeliness of material submitted.

1.  Chicago Meeting

We hope that those of you who will be at the Chicago AAS 
meeting will come to the CSWA meeting at 1:00 pm on 
Wednesday, June 2 for our discussion of "Women Faculty in 
the Sciences:  How are We Doing?"  Dr. Carolyn Narasimham, 
Associate Dean at De Paul University will introduce the 
discussion with comments on her view of the progress of 
women scientists in academia.  This will be followed by open 
discussion.
