The Department of Physics at Virginia Tech invites applications
for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor
level, to begin in August 2001. In addition to demonstrated
research potential, prospective candidates should have a
commitment to undergraduate and graduate education, and an
interest in outreach. A PhD degree is required and post-doctoral
