The UWRF Physics Department seeks to fill a tenure track position for Fall 2001.
Responsibilities include teaching physics lecture and laboratory courses,
including upper division courses, and professional involvement and
accomplishments in one of the following areas---materials science, observational
astronomy, astrophysics, particle physics, applied or engineering physics. The
successful candidate will assume a leadership role in one of the following
existing efforts at UWRF: coordinating the dual-degree and pre-engineering
programs which includes teaching engineering courses, developing and teaching
the electronics curriculum, or overseeing the observatory. PhD in Physics,
Applied Physics, or a closely related field, and laboratory experience (teaching
