STARTING DATE: Fall 2023
DEADLINE: Screening of applications begins immediately and continues until position is filled.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. or ABD in Physics or related field; ability to teach introductory and upper-level physics courses, as well as general education courses; evidence of potential for teaching excellence. Preference will be given to candidates with an interest in teaching astronomy and overseeing the Wartburg Platte Observatory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach the equivalent of seven undergraduate courses (approximately three each in both Fall and Winter Terms, plus one during May Term), advise students, and engage in scholarship and service appropriate to the liberal arts setting.
CONTRACT: Nine-month, tenure-track contract
