The School of Physics & Astronomy at the University of St Andrews is seeking to recruit two Lecturers in Astrophysics. We are looking for motivated individuals to develop and deliver high quality, innovative teaching to our well-qualified undergraduate population, while undertaking an independent research programme in astrophysics. The School is internationally recognised for its research (http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/physics-astronomy/research/), and has been rated top ten in the UK for over twenty years.
We are particularly interested in applicants who complement and extend our current research programmes in astronomy from exoplanets and their host stars, star formation, galaxies, active galactic nuclei and cosmology. Applicants should possess a PhD, have a strong record of research in astrophysics and some teaching experience.
