Assistant Professor, National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) SOLAR-C Project

We invite applications for an assistant professor (AP) position at the SOLAR-C Project of NAOJ. AP is expected to involve the relevant scientific communities and promote the scientific activities conducted to meet the scientific goals of the SOLAR-C Project in cooperation with scientists, engineers, and technologists. As one of the significant tasks, AP is expected to contribute to the performance evaluation of the telescope and related electronic equipment developed by manufacturers in the SOLAR-C instrument developments. As part of the performance evaluation, the AP plays significant roles in the progress of scheduled project activities in foreign countries and contributes to functional testing including instrument calibration.
