Faculty Positions in Astronomy and Astrophysics at Westlake University, China

Westlake University's School of Science is currently seeking applications for faculty positions in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics. These positions are available as tenure-track or tenured positions and cover areas such as observational, theoretical, and instrumental astrophysics. The anticipated starting date for these positions is September 1, 2024, or earlier.

Established in February 2018, Westlake University is an innovative institution in China that aims to become a global leader in cutting-edge scientific research and a catalyst for change in higher education. Situated in the beautiful city of Hangzhou in southern China, the university receives support from both private and public sectors. Over the next decade, a new Department of Astronomy will be established within the School of Science. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, or a closely related discipline.
