Astronomy Assistant Professor

Under the direction of the Dean of Instruction, Math and Sciences, and working closely with the physical sciences department, this position is responsible for providing high-level classroom and lab instruction to a diverse student population and working collaboratively with the department and the college in our constant effort to support student success. Moreover, this position will be expected to teach astronomy at both our Pittsburg and Brentwood locations to a wide variety of students majoring in many different fields.
