Event: Educator Reception
6/1/2008 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM,
The AAS and Association for Astronomy Education present an evening reception for K-12 teachers to gain knowledge and resources to take back to their classrooms to cover the latest science being discussed during the conference week. At the reception, teachers will have a chance to be exposed to background scientific content related the latest discoveries, mingle with astronomers and other education professionals, and will take home resources (and new connections) to use in their classrooms.
