Subject: AAS Survey on the Future of AAS Publications
Current trends in scientific publishing show increasing migration to electronic publishing, shorter proprietary access times for subscribers, and increased linking to sources of underlying data. The Publications Board would like your opinion on placing the Astrophysical Journal Letters in the vanguard in moving to all-electronic format, along with the values that we should preserve if we move to implement that change.
The AAS Publications Board seeks member input on the future of the AAS Publications through a short online survey. The survey is available now at the following link: www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=yDo_2fpr9o3FL_2fOIU_2fU2jBgA_3d_3d
