Electronic Announcements
The AAS Executive Office sends monthly Electronic Announcements (ELAs) to all members. Included are important items that do not fit into the schedule of the AAS Newsletter. Items submitted to the Newsletter are not automatically included in the ELAs. Items for inclusion in the ELA must be timely and of broad interest to the community. Calls for AAS members to advocate on particular issues will not be published. Calls for input or notices of important activities outside of meeting announcements will be published. The Executive Officer makes the final editorial decision on the inclusion of content.
Items for possible inclusion in this announcement series should be sent to Crystal Tinch. Keep announcement short and refer readers to sources of additional information.

Because of volume, meeting announcements cannot be included in the ELA. Meetings announcements should be sent to Crystal Tinch for the Calendar section of the AAS Newsletter and to Liz Bryson for the International Astronomical Meetings website.
