How to Register
There are various ways to register for the
th Meeting:
Online,
US mail or FAX.
Please do not submit more than one registration form.
Submission of more than one registration form may result in redundant
charges to your account.
1. Online Registration. If you have any questions, please contact , .AAS and Division Members should log on to the Members Only Website. A "My Login" feature is available for resetting passwords.

Please follow the instructions for filling out the electronic form very carefully. Failure to do so may result in the rejection of your form. You will receive a confirmation and receipt by email. We recommend that you print out and bring a copy of the confirmation notice with you to the conference in the event of an error in processing your registration.
Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are the only payment methods that can be utilized with an electronic registration. All payments are due at the time the registration form is submitted. Purchase orders are not accepted. Checks or money orders are not acceptable payment methods for electronic registration. To pay by check or money order, please use the paper registration form.
2. Paper form (Mail or FAX): The paper form mailed to AAS members may be submitted either by US Post or FAX. A PDF version of the registration form can be obtained online:

You may mail this form and payments to the registrar at the address provided above. You may FAX the registration form and credit card payment information to: 202-234-7850. When sending a registration by mail, a registrant may pay for registration using a check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. When registering by fax, the only acceptable payment method is a credit card. All payments are due at the time the registration form is submitted. Checks or money orders should be made to "AAS th Meeting." Remittance should be made in US funds drawn on a US bank. A combination of payment methods may be used for different items as long as clear instructions for applying the various payments are provided, in writing, at the time of registration.
You will receive an acknowledgment of your registration and payments within two weeks of receipt by the registrar. If you do not receive this acknowledgment, please contact , . We recommend that you bring a copy of the acknowledgment with you to the conference in the event there has been an error in processing your registration.
Registration Classes
Junior/Emeritus registration is reserved for AAS Junior and Emeritus members only. Junior/Emeritus registration fees include admission to all conference sessions, refreshment breaks, social events (additional fee for the Society Banquet) and conference materials.
Member and Nonmember registration fees include admission to all conference sessions, refreshment breaks, social events (additional fee for the Society Banquet ) and conference materials.
Undergraduate Nonmember Guest is for undergraduate students attending the meeting with their faculty member who is an AAS Member. Registration fees include admission to all conference sessions, refreshment breaks, social events (additional fee for the Society Banquet) and conference materials. (A faculty member may register/sponsor more than one Undergraduate Guest per meeting.)
Cool Astronomy For Everyone and Pre-meeting Education Sessions and Workshop attendees who are not AAS members, must use a specific registration form, http://www.aas.org/registration/aas206/coolastronomy.html. Two-year college and small college/university faculty may register at a special rate. Further details will be published on the registration form as they become available.
Spouse/Guest fee is intended for those who will not attend the scientific sessions but would like a nametag to attend the opening reception and coffee breaks/exhibit hall.
One day registration may be upgraded to full registration at anytime at the prevailing rate with no processing fee. To upgrade prior to , send a message with payment method to , FAX: 202-234-7850. A full registration may NOT be changed to a one day registration.
Members of the News Media should not use this form, but may register by consulting the AAS Press Officer. Write to Steve Maran at maran@aas.org.
Each Exhibit will be provided with two free full registrations. Non-exhibiting Corporate Members may also be eligible for free registration. Consult , before completing the registration form. You may already be registered, please check the registrant list. Free registration does not include the Banquet; you may use the paper registration form to purchase Special Event tickets.

Cancellations/Refunds
Requests for cancellation must be received in writing via email (

charge. Cancellations received

to a full refund of fees minus a $25 processing charge. Refunds will take approximately
six to eight weeks. Persons who do not appear at the meeting, thereby canceling
