According to author Polly Toynbee, whose article appeared in The Guardian
on Tuesday April 15 2008, 'Girlification' is destroying all the hope we felt
in 1968. Women are still paying the motherhood penalty at work, but the
damage starts in infancy, with a poisonous pink assault.
This article makes many of the points raised in the weekly CSWA articles in=
a somewhat broader context worth considering.
