Job Description

 

The successful applicant will manage our campus observatories; the new Hat Ranch Observatory; and the National Undergraduate Research Observatory (NURO). The successful applicant will also support our telescope-related outreach activities in the broader community. The successful applicant will help manage various lab-related equipment and systems, including software, and serve as building manager. Finally, the successful applicant will supervise our graduate teaching assistants (GTA) to ensure they are prepared for their weekly teaching assignments.

 

Telescope and Equipment Maintenance - 65% GTA Supervisor - 15%

Outreach Support - 5%

Building Manager - 5%

Other Duties - 10%

 

Salary

Anticipated salary range is $54,779 to $68,474. Annual salary commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience.
