Bethany Johns, the AAS's John N. Bahcall Public Policy Fellow, will post reports from Town Hall sessions and other policy discussions.

AstroBetter:
This blog offers "Tips & Tricks for Professional Astronomers." Contributors Eli Bressert, Kelle Cruz, Saurav Dhital, Jessica Lu, and Jane Rigby will be at the Austin meeting.

Astrobites:
This blog, written by astrophysics graduate students for undergraduates, provides daily summaries of research that's been posted on the astro-ph preprint server. Quite a few Astrobites bloggers will be writing repor from the meeting, including Daniel W. Gifford, Susanna Kohler, Elisabeth R. Newton, Adele Plunkett, and Evan Schneider.

Astronomy Communication & Outreach:
Oana Sandu of the European Southern Observatory will be at her first AAS meeting, where, with any luck, she'll find numerous things to add to her article on "unconventional ways of communicating astronomy with the public."

Cosmic Variance:
As is their custom, contributors Julianne Dalcanton and Risa Wechsler will blog about whatever they find interesting — science, to be sure, but also arts, politics, culture, technology, academia, and miscellaneous trivia.

StarStryder:
Pamela Gay, who co-produces Astronomy Cast and is heavily involved in new media, will be at the meeting, possibly using both hands to type on two different handheld devices at once.

The Spacewriter's Ramblings:
Journalist/planetarian Carolyn Collins Petersen will be in Austin and will no doubt offer her usual chronicles and ruminations.

TransitofVenus.org:
Chuck Bueter is blogging about results related to the forthcoming June 2012 transit of Venus across the Sun.
