Time Is Running Out! Final Weeks to Renew and Save!

Diane Frendak

Diane Frendak American Astronomical Society (AAS)

Haven't renewed your AAS membership for 2016? The time is now — not only will your membership be suspended and your member benefits cut off on Tuesday, 1 March, but also a $10 fee will be assessed for all renewals made after that date.

Renew now to maintain your listing in the 2016 Membership Directory and to secure discounted registration for the AAS summer meeting. For many members, the discount for a single meeting is often worth more than a year’s membership dues! Moreover, you’ll sail through the abstract submission process now and in the fall when we compile talks and posters for the winter meeting.

Don't let your membership lapse — renew today to avoid losing your valuable benefits, including discounted journal subscriptions and meeting registrations, affordable group insurance, Physics Today, and so much more.

Give us a call if you would like us to take your membership and payment information over the phone. Or you can quickly and securely renew online, confirm or update your journal subscriptions and Division memberships, and lock in savings for 2017 by renewing for two years at the current rate. (Note: That last option isn't available to junior members, who instead get two years for the price of one — currently $80 — when first joining the Society, then renew annually thereafter.)

If you have any questions about your dues or benefits, or need assistance when logging in to our website, please contact the membership team by email at [email protected] or by phone at 202-328-2010. Thank you for your continued membership!
