Abstracts

The science program consists of a mix of 15-minute oral presentations and posters. Meeting attendees can submit one abstract for either an oral or poster presentation. Please note that due to time limitations, not all requests for an oral presentation can be honored.

Special Sessions

HEAD members may propose Special Sessions to discuss scientific topics of interest to the HEAD community. Sessions are 90 minutes and usually include 3-6 talks, and they may feature topical talks by multiple speakers, or a panel discussion, or other presentation formats.

Splinter Meetings

Splinter Meetings are science or programmatic meetings that may be scheduled by organizations or groups usually in parallel to scheduled HEAD sessions. These will usually require separate meeting space and may require A/V support, and/or catering.
